Hazard Assessments

July 03 2015

Sheffield Safety performs site audits for clients & provides a detailed report with photographs summarizing safety & loss control issues observed. The reports are detailed & provide management a summary of where their overall safety & health program & what areas need to be improved. The report also is a tool for site personnel as the findings can be discussed by supervision in contractor meetings or with employees or as a safety meeting. All audits performed by SSLC are based on site observations made with the goal of improving the overall safety of the project.

Upon completion of the audit a conference is held to discuss preliminary findings and provide on-site recommendations for mitigation of identified hazards. We work with client employees to improve work practices and reduce safety hazards while showing the client ways to improve production rates. Audits have been done on a one-time basis or as part of an ongoing, scheduled process.

On-site Audits address the following:

Walking/Working Surfaces
Fall Protection
First Aid/Medical
Hazardous Materials
Excavation
Hand and Portable Power Tools
Fire Protection
