SSLC performs site audits for clients & provides a detailed report with photographs summarizing safety & loss control issues observed. The reports are detailed & provide management a summary of where their overall safety & health program is at & what areas need to be improved. The report also is a tool for site personnel as the findings can be discussed by supervision in contractor meetings or with employees as a safety meeting. All audits performed by SSLC are based on site observations made with the goal of improving the overall safety of the project.
Upon completion of the audit a conference is held to discuss preliminary findings and provide on-site recommendations for mitigation of identified hazards. SSLC works with client employees to improve work practices and reduce safety hazards while showing the client ways to improve production rates. Audits have been done on a one-time basis & as part of an ongoing, scheduled process.
On-site Audits address the following:
Hand and Portable Power Tools
Personal Protective Equipment
Powered Platforms and Man Lifts
Cranes & Rigging
Material Handling and Storage
Occupational Health Controls
